About Us

Tim Tillema is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Michigan, practicing for over 30 years including about 10 years in public accounting firms.  He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration – Accounting major.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).

Tim has worked for over 20 years in the grocery industry.  He formerly worked for SpartanNash Company as Manager of Financial Services, providing financial services support for independent grocery retailers for 18 years.  This included accounting, payroll, bill pay, tax returns, and advisory services.  Since leaving SpartanNash, he has served as Chief Financial Officer for two independent grocery retailers located in Michigan.

Tim has served as Board President of Degage Ministries in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Seidman School of Business (Grand Valley State University) Alumni Board founding member; Career Services (Grand Valley State University) strategic planning member; Holland Home of Michigan, the largest provider of independent living and nursing care in Michigan, Finance committee member; and has served in various leadership roles at the church he attends.
